Michelle grew up singing in choirs, and was lucky enough to be in a choir directed by Elise Bradley in high school. She is married to David Squire, director of the New Zealand Youth Choir, and they have two sons, both of whom love singing in choirs too. Michelle thinks it's fantastic that she gets to bring together her training and experience in communications and marketing with her love and enthusiasm for choral singing while working for NZCCA.
